Here's our small bible study group (melb uni, rmit, swinburne and trinity) combined. There's another group (monash uni) and they have their own one as they are further out from the city. L-R (me, su-mei, annie, lisa, stanley, daniel) Lisa's father was classmates with sister florence in cambridge, that was cool to find that out... + he's a very good cook! we were invited round for dinner after bible study. Also there will be ANOTHER wedding planned here in melbourne for brother George and sister Jamie (from malaysia) that will be happening in May so it's very soon. I was checking my the dates and time is really flying, don't have that much time left here in Australia >.< Planning to see a few more places before i leave. I think I will have to come back to Australia in the future and see more of it because it's just too big, there's so many places to visit - perth, brisbane, gold coast, ayres rock and many more. - also got my eye on New Zealand and Tasmania :) anyone interested? Currently we have a preacher here from Malaysia - Pr.Daniel Chin. Will be based here for a week, the churches here organize preachers to speak sermons ALOT here in melbourne, there's service here every night on the timetable while preacher is here. Weather is changing, there's still sun but getting much cooler now... I went to see great ocean road and the 12 apostles on a public holiday (ANZAC DAY) last wednesday... although there's not 12 apostles anymore, a couple of them started to crumble and fall into the sea >.< its still a spectacular view though, everything is naturally shaped by the wind and the sea there. Im thinking next time I come back, don't know how many will remain standing.
It really is quite special :) My work in uni is going fine, busy as usual with new assignments every week... working up a digital portfolio/resume and side project on book covers. Photography elective is going great as well, that one is quite free... will work up a final display for that one (concertina book, french folds, perfect binding)? Places planning to visit: - Sovereign Hills - Philip island - Grampians (possibly) good thing is that these places are very close to melbourne. |
